Delete Your Account
Delete Your Account — BodyByKeke: Mind
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This page is for anyone who wants to delete their BodyByKeke: Mind account — listed on Google Play as BodyByKeke Mind: Me Time, published by ClarityCI LLC — including if you no longer have the app installed. It covers both ways to ask, and exactly what deletion removes.
The short version
- In the app: Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- Without the app: email privacy@clarityci.com from the address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”.
- Either way, there is a 30-day grace period before anything is permanently removed, so a deletion made in a bad moment can still be undone.
- After 30 days, your profile, mood check-ins, journal entries, me-time blocks, rituals, Circle memberships, wishlists, and encrypted journal keys are permanently deleted from our live database and cannot be recovered.
1. Delete it yourself, in the app
Open BodyByKeke: Mind, sign in, and go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Confirming starts the 30-day grace period described below immediately.
Changed your mind? Sign back in and tap Cancel deletion on the notice shown in Profile, any time before the 30 days run out. Signing in alone does not cancel it — that's deliberate, so that someone who gets into your account cannot undo a deletion you meant just by opening the app.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you've uninstalled the app, lost access to your account, or would simply rather not sign in to ask, email privacy@clarityci.com with the subject line “Delete my account”, from the email address your account uses (or telling us what it is, if you're writing from a different address). We'll acknowledge the request and start the same 30-day grace period as the in-app path. We may ask a question or two to confirm you're the account holder before we proceed.
3. What gets deleted, after the 30 days
Permanently, and irreversibly:
- Your profile, display name, and email address
- Every mood check-in and its notes
- Your journal entries, including anything sitting in Recently Deleted
- Me-time blocks and rituals
- Your Circle memberships and per-Circle nicknames
- Product wishlists
- Push notification tokens
- Your escrowed journal keys (the passphrase-wrapped keys that let a second device read your journal)
4. What deletion does not immediately reach, and why
“All of your data, everywhere, instantly” is not something any honest service can promise. Specifically:
- Encrypted backups age out on a rolling 7-day window after your account is deleted, rather than being edited on request — they are only ever restored wholesale, after a disaster, never record by record.
- Server and API logs expire on their own schedule, between 1 and 7 days, rather than on request.
- Analytics events are held under a random identifier we never link to your account in the first place — so we have no way to pick out which events are yours in order to delete them on request. They carry no name, email, or account ID.
- Content you shared inside a Circle that another member already saw — a nudge, a shared-session title, a mood band — isn't retrieved from their view. We remove the link to your account, but we can't reach into what someone else already saw.
- Reports involving your account — whether you filed one about someone else, or someone filed one about you — are kept for up to 3 years with the link to your account removed, rather than deleted outright. A report is also evidence about somebody else, and it stays legible even after one side of it is gone.
- Apple, Google, and our subscription processor keep their own transaction and subscription records for their own tax and accounting obligations, on their own schedule. We cannot delete a purchase record held by Apple or Google.
The full detail — including exact retention periods for every category of data — is in section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
5. One thing worth knowing before you ask
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us, and only they can turn off future billing. Cancel first in your device's subscription settings, then delete your account, so you aren't charged for a subscription attached to an account that no longer exists.
